Elijah's first Thanksgiving

On Wednesday, Allen helped bring over the Thanksgiving fixings, and then he visited with lil' Baby E.

Uncle George, Auntie Karen, and cousins Curtis and Craig came all the way out from California to share Elijah's first Thanksgiving. We LOVED sharing the happy day with them.

Thanks for coming to New York, everyone!

And then we put Elijah to bed, but first we all read about Curious George's adventures.

What a fun time we all had. So much to be thankful for.

And one more thing to make us all smile: Elijah is 12 weeks old today!

What Elijah did this weekend

On Saturday, Elijah was fascinated by his mobile,

used his snuzzler for the first time (brr! here comes winter!),

and had a good long nap at the Tea Lounge.

On Sunday, he visited with Lynda, Sirion, Allen, and Jim.

Sunday at the Tea Lounge

A lovely day was had by all. If only autumn could last forever.

They're everywhere!

Yesterday we hosted an infant playdate

And did I happen to mention that Elijah is now ten weeks old?

Yippee!

Did I forget to mention...

...that when we took Elijah to the doctor, he weighed in at 12 pounds, ten ounces, and he was 23 inches long? Wow wow wow! What a champeen eater our lil' devil is.

And we aren't talking about whisky here. Elijah had his first vaccinations today, and he came through 'em like a trouper.

His poor mom was also very brave.

After doing his medical duty, Elijah went down to the local elementary school to do his civic duty. Did he vote for Bloomberg or Ferrer?

He's keeping that a secert for now.


Spit really does happen. So does spit-up.

But how can you resist this gorgeous face?

His mom and dad certainly can't!
