100 days old!

Yesterday Elijah turned 100--days old, that is.

He started the day with a little tummy time in his crib,

and got a nice hug from his mom.

Then he got all spiffed up for his big 100 day party,

where he charmed Uncle Dan and Aunt Sue,

and flirted with Christina.

What a busy day for Elijah!

A new home for T-Bone?

We love T-Bone. He is a great cat, and he deserves a great home. Unfortunately, having a lil' baby and a mature kitty is a bit tougher than we thought, so we need to find a loving new home for our dear furry friend.

T-Bone is very good natured and an all-around good egg. Please--is there someone out there who wants a wonderful kitty?

Hooray for Yvonne!

Meet Yvonne. She's a genius.

Today--in, what? two minutes?--she taught Elijah how to hold his own bottle, and he took to it like the champ he is.

What an excellent student! What an outstanding teacher!
Hooray, Yvonne, hooray!

Such a busy social calendar

Elijah was charming throughout--but of course!

Purty as a picture

Over the weekend, Elijah made his first trip to visit Grandma and Grandpa. We were all very proud of Grandpa's art opening at the Marlborough Free Library.

Me and my boy

It sure was purty up in the snowy Hudson Valley

Elijah and Dad were all pooped out!

My heroes

There's nothing like becoming a parent to help you understand how much love, energy, and dedication it takes to be a parent--or a grandparent.

Meet Joel and Rachel. You've seen them here before, but let me tell you a lil' something about them. Yesterday, they woke up at an ungodly hour and drove down from the Hudson Valley to Brooklyn in order to care for Elijah while Mom and Dad went to work. They stayed with Elijah all day, and judging by how happy he looked when we got home, my parents did a fantastic job taking care of my beloved son. Then, well after dark, they got in their car and drove the two hours back home. Truly, they are my heroes, and they are showing me yet again what it means to love and care for your family.

So, hats off to you, Mom and Dad! And thank you, thank you, thank you!
